Through our partnership with Cherriots, Salem-Keizer’s Local Transit District, Salem-Keizer Public Schools participate in our mobile classroom initiative. Cherriots offers a comprehensive tour and ride on a city bus, empowering all fifth-grade students and staff with essential knowledge on bus etiquette and safety. Students are encouraged to have conversations with their families to decide when they are ready to ride.
